Llevamos casi una década recorriendo Cantabria con cámaras en la mochila. Estos son los siete sitios a los que volveríamos sin pensarlo — no por ser los más famosos, sino porque cuentan algo. Los hemos ordenado más o menos de oeste a este, por si os apetece hilar una ruta.
We've spent almost a decade travelling Cantabria with cameras in our backpacks. These are the seven places we'd return to without hesitation — not because they're the most famous, but because each one tells a story. We've ordered them roughly west to east, in case you'd like to thread a route together.
Si nos preguntan cuál es nuestra favorita, no sabríamos decir. Hemos fotografiado bodas en los siete y en cada una hemos vivido algo distinto. Cantabria es así — pequeña en mapa, enorme en variedad. En 80 kilómetros pasas del mar a la nieve, del palacio al caserío, del jardín tropical al hayedo.
If you ask us which one is our favourite, we wouldn't know what to say. We've photographed weddings in all seven and lived something different at each. That's Cantabria — small on the map, huge in variety. In 80 kilometres you go from sea to snow, from palace to farmhouse, from tropical garden to beech forest.
